There are many thoughts that come to mind when the city of Atlanta is mentioned throughout the country of America. One that we here at the blog site rarely think of is Hip-Hop. Yes that city has a slew of rappers but emcees? Ummmmmmmm depends on what you consider a emcee to be. Not since the days of Outcast and T.I. have we had a fresh feel for what the city is doing in a musical direction. Well, this morning I received a brown envelope with the words Atlanta Hip-hop written across the front of it. I discovered a mixtape from a group called Tha F.A.C.U.L.T.Y. of Nu High inside(more of that later) and also a dvd showing a music video for the lead single off the mixtape. Little is known about the group accept this. The group is a obscure collective comprised of emcees LuckyKillJoy and Multi-Man Tha Skipso...lol...Yep people Multi-Man Tha Skipso I know the boss isn't going to like that name. To describe the music would be Classic Underground Hip-Hop. After listening to a couple of choice tunes on the mixtape I agree with the self-proclaimed label. So here we go. I present to you the lead single from Tha F.A.C.U.L.T.Y. of Nu High entitled Dreamz...What a remarkable ode to the thing we all love Hip-Hop...Pedro Parker out...catch you next swing
